For the 2011 Spring season, NWLL is offering softball through our partner league, Capitol City Little League (CCLL). CCLL offers two softball divisions: Majors (ages 9-12) and Juniors (ages 12-14). This is a recreational softball league with an emphasis is on skills development, teamwork and having fun. Girls of all skill levels are encouraged to sign-up and learn softball in a positive and safe environment. All girls who register will be placed on a team. Registration information can be found at www.capcityll.org.
Groups of girls (and/or coaches) looking to register an entire softball team in CCLL can do so by coordinating with NWLL's Softball Commissioner.
For younger girls (9 and under), NWLL suggests T-Ball (ages 5-6) or AA baseball (ages 7-8), where girls can begin to play baseball and receive coaching in the basics of hitting, throwing and catching.
